Slippage

Slippage determines how much price movement you're willing to tolerate when executing a trade. It’s a critical feature to tweak because:

  • Higher slippage: Ensures your trade gets executed, especially in volatile markets or during token launches, but may result in paying a higher price.

  • Lower slippage: Gives you tighter control over price, avoiding unexpected costs, but risks your trade not executing if the price moves too quickly.

Customizing slippage allows you to balance speed and precision, making it an essential tool for both aggressive sniping and cautious trading strategies.

  • Open Slippage settings from the Fast Buy/Sell menu to adjust your price impact.

  • Click on Slippage: 5%, this is the default, and if you don’t change it, your main settings stay active.

  • After opening Slippage settings, enter your max slippage %, anything over 100% disables slippage.
